On the border of Waterfall City, you will find Woodmead North Office Park which was one of the first commercial office developments directly on the M1 highway. It was constructed by Zenprop, Investec and Group 5. There are 11 buildings on the site including a Holiday Inn Express hotel which is ideally situated for visiting staff and clients. The oldest commercial office park in Woodmead is Woodmead Office Park, just off Van Reenen Road. This was originally developed by Barrow Projects over 30 years ago. It is still a popular location for companies as it offers good security, easy access to Woodmead Drive and the gardens throughout the development are generous and very well established. Another popular, older park located in the Woodmead area is The Woodlands Office Park. It is situated on a 43 hectare site, which consists of 31 buildings, a boma area and a lifestyle Centre. The Lifestyle Centre offers staff the convenience of a Restaurant, Wellness Centre, Dry Cleaner, printing company, Gym and a Nursery School. There is also a game park within The Woodlands, which gives the park a unique and serene atmosphere. Tenants have peace of mind as there are 3 guard houses which are monitored 24/7. Healthcare Park is off Woodlands Drive and is mainly tenanted by Aspen Pharmaceuticals, who occupy around 10 of the 16 buildings in the park. There is a Conference Centre and fully stocked Canteen for staff and clients. The gardens are indigenous with ponds throughout. One of the newer developments in Woodmead would be Woodmead Estate. SAP is by far the largest tenant in the park. The architecture is Cape Dutch with large patios overlooking manicured gardens. There are a few water features throughout the park. This park has excellent security and easy access to the Buccleuch interchange.
